NoMercy: AB 2.0 is close now. It look similar to this AB, so we won't be having a graphical overhaul, but there will be new things to do and it will run faster!

Vibrasphere: It could be a good idea and it was a suggestion that has been sent to the tech team. The difficulty with it is that threads could then be rather selective...

Theonlyone: That function was existed but was removed a long time ago due to abuse... for now you have to report the whole thread. This will be changed for AB 2.0

Robinia: As I said above, no major graphical overhaul... you will still have your old Answerbank look, but slicker!

We have been talking to the tech team about a similar system. It hopefully will allow us to choose a series of different time depending on the severity of the crime. This way we can offer equal punishment to the crime � at the moment it can seem either wildly over the top or impossible lenient.

In the current AB we have to deal with this system, this is why anyone using multiple log-in is banned persistently. We still have final call on whether something is banned or not, don�t worry. Block banning very rarely happens, I believe I have only seen it once or twice in my time at AB towers. Some users assert block banning is the cause of their threads disappearance when it is in truth an editorial decision.

will there be regular moderation for AB 2.0 including weekends? we seem to be at the mercy of trolls from 5pm fridays until monday.

Evening and weekend moderation is difficult.

We do as much as possible, but its also our free time, so with two of us its very hard without being here 24/7 :-(
