New member, but why?

Hiya guys and girls. I am a new member to this site. Joined on the 5th 3 days ago. When i go to my profile page i find that i have made 42 contributions 9 of which have been removed. I have not been abusive, and believe i have always been constructive. If someone is answering who's advice is better than i could give i have sat back and remained a spectator. I have no idea what has been removed but could someone suggest why some contributions have? I have tried the ed but think he must be sleeping on the job lol.
