Apparently there is a limit to the number of postings allowed in a given time (which I was unaware of). And that to exceed it results in a ban.

Other ABers have fallen foul to the rule.

Surely an automatic email warning you that you are over posting or near to the end of your limit, should be sent. If there is code to detect the number of posts you are writing then surely an automated email can be generated to trigger an early warning, giving ABers the chance to avoid a ban
