Adverts on AB

It's one thing to see adverts on the top and side of AB but now I find with a topic like motoring that there is a flashing advert between the question and the answers. It's hard to concentrate on a thread with flashing ads - this is something I have never seen before. Can we not have ad's anywhere BUT between questions and the answers?

I don't get them......I logged in on someone elses computer once and was shocked by all the adverts....The only ads I have is uknetguide and a couple of links under that. That's it.....I don't have an adverts category either.

No ads on mine either. Must be ad blocking by Norton Internet Security. Lots of sites I visit have white blank sections. Great

Glad I pay for this raher than take the free stuff that probably lets it through.

Under unsubscribre to question or post an answer there is a flashing ad banner sandwiched in between question and first answer. I am pretty watertight for pop up ads and its only on motoring that I am seeing it.

Well I'm guessing that it's those ads that make this a free site for us all, so with that in mind they can stick all the ads on that they want. The alternative is paying to come 'ere and I'm a typical skinflint Lancs person and don't wish to pay for owt!!!

oh heck! the thought of paying??? I'll stick with the adverts and learn to love them because I'm a skinflint too!
