oops, should have put tighter 'lastic in his drawers

Well it didn't take long for us to put the mockers on the surname site did it? I can't get it to do anything past the front page....

Could I ask that no one posts pics of water seeing as there's a large amount of it right outside my window, grrrrrrrrrrr....I was enjoying that brief summery spell.
I did see that in H&G jno, I thought I'd posted it in here. I must have decided against causing a national tena shortage.

I really hope it clears up for you Jude but it's not looking good....sorry to 'wee on your fireworks' :o(
Is this you high kicking on here? :o)

yo
mORNING.!!
blimey..its sunny...saturday was magic to.

Afternoon each! I'm more like the kid in shorts and boots on that vid Robi Always a tomboy :o)
Didn't clear up enough for us to go to Darley Park but there must have been some 'hardy annuals' there to see the fireworks. It was the same last year and about 10,000 people went and you could see the fireworks from here apparently.
All's quiet on the South Western front then Vin does that mean we will be seeing more of you now.

Been to town this morning and had a spending spree. Fabulous Jeans from Per Una the most expensive ones I've ever bought. Daren't tell anybody how much. Also got some shoes and a pair of black trousers which I really did need, well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. You can't beat a bit of retail therapy.

Off for my cuppa now Byeee :o)
Evening all - can someone please tell me what biddythread we were on Last August? I need to look up something. Ta.
a'noon people...oh, dear, have you all been washed away? Apparently it's been hellish 'dahn sarf' (neighbour's son lives down there)

We'll need some warm woolies before long Jude :o(. I've never had any really expensive jeans but I might just try some next time I'm out just to see whether they do fit better. I'm trying to remember the most expensive thing I've ever bought mmmm, nope..... I haven't bought any new clothes this 'summer', in fact I've got a couple of things from last year that I haven't worn. Good job I'm not a fashionista, maybe it'll be third year lucky next year.
Shame about the fireworks, I could hear them, they must be deafening if you're there!

I've had a mail from her sister to say that Kit's puta has crashed and is trying her best to fix it

Hope you all feel livelier than I do...I think someone's been hitting me with a hammer, every inch of me either hurts or is sore. I think I need a rub down with an oily rag.
Dinner should be done, me 'taters were grown in Devon(!)....should put hairs on me chest :o)

Mail neti!
sigh... several days of freedom already but still I'm sleeping nightshift hours. And watching the customary reciprocal hurling of abuse on AB.
jno You really should try to retire!!

Thanks Robi I needed to know when I bought my new iron, the shop said Sept and I thought it was Dec, so I see the shop was right as I mentioned it on that thread!!

Hi all...Robi what have you been doing to yourself....or is it Neti's virus transferred by computer???? Qiuet day today, Dh is taking a pensioners nap and I am keeping the dogs quiet and eating strawberry fizzy bootlaces.
Yesterday we had the new spare room bed delivered, the council are taking the old one so we had to get it downstairs and onto the front. Heaven knows how rhe removal men got it upstairs because we managed to get it stuck on the stairs and had to take it back upstairs and saw it in half....so that was part one of the fun. Anyway because we are good folk and the council aren't collecting till next week, we put a placcy sheet over the bed and mattress....which flapped and crackled all night like the Cutty Sark rounding Cape Horn causing the sillier of the two dogs to assume we had burglars and bark all night (he doesn't actually do anything, just lays on the bed barking)causing Mr Woofgang to be totally cream crackered today causing the pensioners nap.....anyway i was supposed to be sorting out said spare room this pm and instead I am lounging at my ease with strawberry bootlaces and the puter....just popping off to ebay to do some secret shopping.....
Hi all, this is "the librarian" speaking again... Thanks Robi for sending my sister's message on to here - yeah that piccy is just about how I feel. Computer crashed (or so I thought) Saturday morning. Monday morning the broadband supplier said no it's a general problem we're having and we're hoping to solve it (oh, good). Right now I don't know what's going on, I had a doctor's appointment (I'll live :-D ) and then went straight to the library to post y'all - don't want to spend another hour waiting on the phone just to hear them say "we're working on the problem".

The other day I had a phone call very effin' early in the morning and when I answered they hung up. The caller's number was on the display so I checked it on the internet and it turned out to be the Roman Catholic Church of Sweden. Look I know I've said the Pope has a funny hat but this is ridiculous... (Or is it one of Robinia's Italian aunts...? Why? 'What does she want? Now I'm nervous, could you find out for me if I am to be... oh what's that word... no time to look it up now...)

And then I had a phone call from one of your dogs Woofy, I'm not sure which one it was but he said they're both tired of your blaming everything on them.

(Okay okay, first phone call completely true, second one... sort of true but maybe it didn't happen exactly that way!)

Time's up... I'll be logged out in a couple of minutes. Don't give up on me, possums, <3 y'all.
a'noon...here I is at last, Tiscali have been playing silly buffers & there's been no tinter access

I can't stop laughing woofy....I first read your post as "Yesterday we had the new spare bedroom delivered, the council are taking the old one so we had to get it downstairs and onto the front....."

right a bit.... :o)

No idea whatsamatter with me, but there is a funny virus going round....I've been following Chas around with the camera but he's gone all obstinate today & kept stalking off
so you'll have to have a rain soaked lily instead

evening all, just trying to find the quickest way from Ataturk airport to Sultanahmet as have booked a weekend in Istanbul leaving on Thursday - if that doesn't shake the work out of my system I don't know what will. Kebabs and raki here I come. Now what sort of headgear...

oh there you are Kit...don't go forgetting where you are, you know how you've got used to looking at the pvc...hope you're back online soon!
(I've got to ring the doc about last week's tests...I don't want to know, but I do if you know what I mean. One thing's for sure & I'm not Hashimoto, I isn't tearing about like hyperneti)

ooh, that sounds very exotic jno
sounds like a cue for a song

Hi All what a day!! Went to Tai Chi and I had to have the keys to the Scout Hut where we meet, as my friend who goes with me was taken in hospital early sunday morning with a kidney problem. (She usually does all the door opening etc and sees to the keys)What with having to remember burglar alarm numbers and switching lights off closing windows etc. I was a bit frazzled. Then I had to go and pick our other friend up and we had a quick lunch and then we went off to the Derby City Hospital to see our friend. I left home at 9.15 this morning and didn't get in until 5.30 this afto. Anyway all is ok now. The news is she can come home soon but has to have a course of treatment and then go back for an ultra sound scan.

Lovely lily photo Robi I like to see flowers with rain on them. My roses (probably the last of Summer) are looking lovely at the moment. Hope your test results are ok. I hate waiting for results like that.

You'll get used to retirement eventually Jno I expect you will be filling your time in travelling to all these exotic places wont you.

I used to go on ebay Woofy a few years ago now. I sold a number of Autographs I had collected. The most I got was about 47 for the Spanish Classical Guitarist Segovia's autograph on a programme from the 1970's when I saw him at Derby Assembly rooms.

Anyway I'm off now. hope you are all ok tonight. See you soon :o)
