morning, Thursday already, where is the time going. I hope that you are all well and that your day is a good one whatever you might have planned. I am a little bit earlier than normal, as i have been awake since around 3am, which i will pay for later i expect.

no plans for the day, but am hoping a courier comes with the Quentin Blake Christmas cards i have ordered online for a friend. Then i can give them to her sooner than later. Sure she will be chuffed as they are delightful cartoons of various Santa and Christmas scenes.

coffee is on which should keep me awake for a time, though i hope i don't nod off over the keyboard, that would never do, lol.....

As a kid time seemed to drag on forever, now it disappears before I know it.

it did though i was rarely bored as a kid, always had friends over or out to play..

ok as far as it goes, knees hurt, but it's not quite as bad as before.
still heard nothing from the hospital as to when someone can see me.

sofa is sort of my pillow, i can rest my head for a little bit and be off to sleep, but not this morning, don't know why...

I've managed to stay out of trouble, that's always a bonus.

It's pretty old and run down, her husband, now deceased, made it for the kids mum 30 or so years ago so it's nice to breathe some life back into it so the next generation gain some enjoyment.

you should watch a tv programme we have here called The Repair Shop, where they literally bring treasured items back to life, they are all expert craftsmen and women, from rocking horses, to teddy bears get the treatment, and the owners are eternally grateful.....

it makes for good tv, and the owners usually have a story to tell about the item, where it came from, who had it, used it, not just toys, but leather and wood work all play a part.

One of those crazy nights where I just couldn’t get back to sleep after going to the bathroom, mins whirring with my coming weekend , what to take etc, then I’m having a party for a joint birthday ,mine and a friend, she missed her 60th through Covid and we’re working on a theme , probably all the women wear something red, that’s on the 21st as we’ve got a memorial drop in day for our friend who died last year from Covid , on the weekend nearest my birthday ( 13th)
My mind is in overdrive with all that’s happening ,this morning I’m out with another friend to do some Xmas shopping ….whoosh …:0))
