1. Yes. :o)
2. Yes.
3. Just need the Council to stop wasting money......and stop with the 'vanity projects'.
I live a few miles away but haven't been there for a very long time. I refuse to step foot in the place most of the time, especially during the season.
Yes, not for a year or so now though. Usually only for the day, night time can be a bit full on haha! Too many stag and hen night parties and such. I ended up in Heaven and Hell there once, never again!

Looked like it was making an improvement when I was last there, still lots being done up there then and other times I've been recently.

It needed a bit of a boost, sad how it has been declining (or I notice more as I get older!). Keep meaning to get back up there but too much walking for me at the moment.
Will be there in September :-) Can't wait....
Me too with a bit of luck.

We've been there with the kids. It is absolutely great if you have children to amuse. If you are really clever you book yourself into a stunning hotel with fantastic facilities/restaurant/beauty treatments, and then knacker the kids up doing all the amusements so you can have some adult time in the evening.

Do not EVER go on that bloody big roller coaster twice in a row though.
I think I'm a bit past Blackpool and its chavy attractions. I enjoyed it once but...
I've only been there once. Never again.
I'd love to go back, I think I was 15 the last time I went. I remember going on a wooden roller coaster that dipped under a tunnel, I thought it was going to take my head off! I've had a fear of Roller Coasters ever since :o(
Agree with Always Confused - been there once and never again!
I once said never again, but i did. I took the kids last year to see the illuminations and it was lovely and they really enjoyed it. All the prom has been refurbished and there was plenty to see and do.
It's a dump
Bought a lovely ship in a bottle there for £5 back in 93 sold it a couple of years ago for £110.
This is me at Blackpool eons ago! I don't remember if I had a good time or not, but I bet I did:)

Cor, just look at the size of the baby in that pram!
I'll have to look at that picture more closely on my photo program thingy, shoota. Can't really see much of the background right now.
I live about 6 miles inland from Blackpool and go there often for shopping. I just love the place, there are very iffy parts but most towns have that. Go North or South and it is very different from central Blackpool, my favourite place is Pier End Café on Central Pier, lovely people, perfect cuppa and just sit and watch the world go by.
stewey - that must have been a long time ago, the world is still black and white.

I was in Blackpool with my pal in 1980, it might have changed a bit.
I bet you that it was taken with a Kodak Brownie:)
I could kill a brownie or some millionaire shortbread just about now
I love Blackpool and have had some good times there. great fish and chips !!
