Well it has been a scorcher, I have done some gardening, and enjoyed the heat, what you lot been up to,

I have spent most of the day guarding my two cats from my nasty next door neighbour, she set her dog on one of them earlier.

went to work at 0700 for five hours
came home and went to the large bank holiday market in town - the weather has been terrific

Sat in the sun, read a book and the Sunday papers, and have been waited on and pampered. Now He has gone to do the food shopping and I have deliberately put panty liners on the list to embarrass him. :-)

I went to Godstone Farm and saw loads of cute animals. They had some tiny newly hatched chicks which were just too cute :o) Petted some rabbits too.

Lovely day - had to catch up with quite a bit of indoors stuff, but made sure I went out in the sunshine too :-)

good start to the day, I took my lotto ticket to the co-op just the treble check i had won and the girl confirmed i had but that they couldn't pay out the £450.00, i said i knew that and it was ok, but she pressed the OK key not the CANCEL key and so the machine accepted the payout and the supervisor said to do it. I was shocked they had enough cash in the till though but they did have. So went to wigan and bought a bra in debs and person of interest season 1 on dvd from tesco and then went to daughter & her BF for a bit and now i'm home and ready to relax and have a few scoops before work tomorrow.

Hiding from the direct sun though it's been lovely in Manchester - nice bit of a breeze in the shade.

I finished reading The Host yesterday so went to see it at the cinema (bargain £4.80 discount ticket :)) - nearly had the place to myself!

Off to do chores and make some tea now.

lol it was in the half price sale actually £9.25 and matching knickers at £3.25 so not splashing out! I'm going to check out fridge freezers on wednesday.

Love the host,, I read it in egypt in 2009, the book is great and I enjoyed the film, good casting.

I went shopping this morning, came home and hubby had taken grandson and dog on a two hour walk to feed the swans, then grandson helped me make pasta, well I gave him some dough and let him use the machine after I'd finished with it, just finished cleaning up after that and he is sat eating, then it's bath time for him and not long after that, story time and bed. Been great having the door open all day though.

Family been here and helping do maintenance on the pond, clearing out a lot of the spare weed, also pruning jobs in the garden and weeding.Its been really warm today.
