After deciding the one you want, what do you then start looking for if you find one?

A good deal.............
a car?
What a strange question, I go and look at the car I want!
Take someone with you who knows about cars.
Check the length of the MOT, the cost of tax, the depth of the tyre treads.
Check the brake pads and all switches and levers.
Plug something into the ciggie lighter and the USB if it has one.
Check it has its spare tyre or inflation kit and tools. Also check for a locking wheel nut if applicable (alloys).
Check for service history and the book pack. It should have its key and radio codes.
Make sure there are two keys.
Check that the dealer has the V5 registration document. Ask to see it.
Check the paintwork over. If it's dirty say you want to see it clean. Check in the dry, rain makes everything look great.
Oh and if it has built in sat nav. Check it has the SD card or disc and try it out. It's usually fairly intuitive to work.
Well done Mojo_Jo_ Jo.
Thanks Tony :)
Your welcome, thats a very comprehensive check dealers beware lol.
Hahaha. Bunch of sharks the lot of 'em. ;)
You're question makes no sense TWR.
Yes your right Mojo.
Funny Zac, I understood it perfectly. Mind you, I am a bit random.
Apparently, you should also check the labels on the seat belts as they have the date of manufacture in them (can't remember why).
Surrealism is fine for art, but not for automotive questions of a factual nature.
You can check for frayed belts while you're at it too. Nice one Sherrard.
Maybe I can help zac.
After deciding on the one you want, what do you then start looking for.
Colour is critical
then
Aaaah, I see.
Low mileage
Good set of tyres
Full service history
HPI check
Right colour for re sale
Insurance in my book!
