Can I suggest that an index of posters be added/maintained so that we don't have to engage in the heinous crime of so much as asking where someone is and if they've been banned/suspended when we return after a break from AB.

Perhaps a list of ALL posters here could be made available as is the case on most forums, with their "joined" date and "active" "suspended" or "banned" written next to them.

maybe there should be a rogues' gallery.. names, photos, crimes against AB, etc..

I should have thought that the number of people who have signed up to AB must run into five figures by now. Most will have moved on.

Then the index could contain text such as "the webmaster's decision is final regarding suspended/banned posters - further discussion will not be entered into".

LOL - I like the "rogues gallery" idea, but I think that *would* start of threads that otherwise wouldn't have happened. A general list of everyone could be mostly popuplated by 'the great and good' and banned/suspended posters would (hopefully) be in the minorty and mostly go un-noticed.

Something like the footie results? Various leagues, relegations and promotions, flounces, penalties given away and taken/scored? Not forgetting substitutions and transfer fees. Just all on one line would be nice.
I am beginning to like the idea of it now ... ;)
