I joined a website as a non paying member and after numerous messages thought I'd give it a go and paid for 6 month membership. I have a general rule that I won't pay for this sort of thing but i though I can't call paying it a waste of money until i at least try.

Well the website is crap, the search function that purports to search by area actually just gives you all UK members. the number of bogus accounts is rife and plenty of under aged users. no answers to my questions about the service.

Can anything be done about this website ? I hate to see people skinned in this way. it's like you walk into the pub for a full roast dinner and only get a plate of gravy

the website ? oh just to clear one thing up - of course you can't see any of the messages until you have paid for membership and of course they are all spam (well from a dating point of view)

you want the website name ? ok doulike.co.uk

and they are still going ? I think i might get the bank to take the money back on account of non deliverance of goods or services
That's about your only option. I doubt you'll get very far, though...
