Hi Ed/spare/moderators.
I accept that there is a 'keep it nice' ethos here and I do my best to stick to the rules but do you *have* to nanny this place so much that threads are zapped and people are suspended so readily ?
Surely a little more 'let it run its course' lenience is not asking too much and a little less censorship will allow personalities/views be seen in all their true colous, warts and all.
I appreciate that you have to draw the line somewhere, but I have seen a lot of threads pulled that were crammed with fascinating insights, colourful and constructive viewpoints and several posters suspended summarily for reasons that seemed pretty innocuous to me (even though they may also conflict with my own views).
My suggestion: please give warnings if you think someone is spoiling the ship for a ha'pennyworth of tar rather than just deleting entire threads/suspending people.
Thanks.
Answerprancer.

Did you read the post that Chuck made? What time was Naz suspended? What was the first part of Chuck's post, the bit up to the first comma?
Ah Mark I'm with you now .....naughty.
Mark, if you check a few posts down from Chuck, I put a link to Trim's profile - 4 mins after Chuck's post. Trim had been suspended long before that. Last activity shows 10.33 this morning.
Yeah saw that, but I don't think Chuck meant it that way. As a mod he's got the ability to suspend users, sadly it doesn't give you the ability to be psychic and know exactly which users have multiple names.
Whatever Chuck's opinion, I do not see the user Trim posting here or anywhere. And lets face it, if he is still here, he'd be pretty bloody stupid to jump to his own defence wouldn't he? Which makes my point that it is wrong to discuss another user when they have no right to reply.

Stop being so bloody pedantic.
Boo, if a poster uses the same pc with a different name, the moderators know.
Is it my turn to accuse someone yet.........?

Some folks seem to be being awfully long-winded having their go..........
> As a mod he's got the ability to suspend users.

Same as you have.

boo, i never knew were a mod, i am for some reason very very surprised !!!
Can someone please explain to me the broomstick reference?
I don't understand as if Chuck knew for sure that Trim was posting under another name, as a mod he should have suspended him under that other name as well..................
Trims demise followed this outburst at 10.59am today

I was just thinking that too Craft. So perhaps there has been some misinterpretation.
Broomstick reference? Honestly?

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
