I ordered DTC's book about his mum and it seems to have been sent to my Kindle Fire when I wanted to go to my iPad.

Can I transfer this to my iPad - I don't know where the Fire kindle is.

So shall I return to Amazon and get them to deliver to the correct device.

Thanks for any help

When you download an item, it should go to all kindle devices...so if you have kindle app on iPad it should have appeared on there.
If anyone knows otherwise, please correct me.
Download the Kindle app to your ipad. You’ll be able to see the book once you have logged into your Amazon account
While you are in your Amazon account on your iPad, you should probably de-register you Kindle device to prevent it happening again.
many thanks, hopefully sorted out now - just download the Kindle App.....surprised you don't have it already.

have been waiting a long time to get back on here as Full Fibre not going great at all. Contacted BT and they said "oh sorry you would need to go onto a more expensive package!

Anyway about the book - as per Barry's instructions yes I only downloaded the kindle app yesterday so am very unsure what to do. Looked at the Amazon account and the book has gone through.

Opened the kindle app on iPad and hit OPEN

Have you logged in to your Amazon on your iPad Kindle app?

Barry - I got talking online to an Amazon fella and he said that (I can't remember exact words) but for me to buy via IOS? I couldn't do it. He gave me quite a long link to which I said no - I couldn't do any more technical stuff. So he cancelled the purchase (sorry DTC)

I need to get my niece to do this for me as it hasn't worked for me. Too too much for me on my own here.

Thanks anyhow Barry

Jenny, Amazon has stopped selling it's Kindle ebooks through Apple because they charge too much, so you were correctly told you cannot buy it from your iPad app.
You can buy it on your iPad another way, though, explained here:
https://www.businessinsider.com/guides/tech/how-to-buy-kindle-books-on-ipad?r=US&;IR=T

I am confused as to why the book you bought didn't show up in your iPad Kindle app. If you were logged in to your Amazon account in the Kindle app the book should have appeared in the app's library
// If you were logged in to your Amazon account in the Kindle app the book should have appeared in the app's library //

That's what I had assumed.
