How long have we been watching this nest? It seems like a long time.
Since June 24th.
Thank you, Mamya.

March 1st for me.
While I'm not a birdwatcher, I can't help but peek in here every day or so since I first saw this thread. It's really a bit of an avian soap opera about failed attempts at making babies by inexperienced parents, with much sadness and frustration.
She's been sitting on those eggs for 50 days now hasn't she?
Question Author
208 replies on both threads, is it record for a birds thread?
Could be Melv. It's you, me and LB who have been watching over her constantly.

All to no avail, sadly.
She's not there now 08.32. Keep it up girl.
She's now appeared again sitting on one of the poles behind the nest.

It could be a happy hunting ground. So she could stay till she migrates. I pop in occasionally up to when they turn the camera off in November. You never know what will turn up. I've seen red kites and kestrels in the past.
Question Author
Hobby snoozing next to box.
Can't see her now at all. At least she's given up on the incubating which is a relief. She needs to get herself fed and fit for migration.
I haven't been able to watch today. I just get an error message. :-(
That's odd Tilly. I can see fine but I have had trouble lately and swapped from Safari to Chrome and that worked. But it's back to working on Safari since I did the latest update. Do you need to update perhaps?
The scrape is empty BTW.
Thank you, LB. It's ok today. I can see her sitting in the background.
Just flown off.
I think I can safely stop watching now, until next year.
Travel safely Mrs Hobby and I look forward to your safe return in the Spring:-)
