Apart from my usual, hanging nut, suet and seed feeders, I've bought some apples and scattered them on the lawn.
So far they've attracted some blackbirds but hopefully other species may come, red wings and field fairs.......wish me luck!

The nearest cat is about 1/2 a mile away, and it don't wander too far.
I get blackbirds and, in very cold winters, fieldfares at my hanging feeder trays.
