Yes I buy a few and keep them in the freezer so that when I am really ill hubby can have a hot meal.

Yes loads, I can't bear cooking plus I can get in from work and be eating in less than 5 minutes.

No, they are unappetizing and over priced . I appreciate some folk need the ease of use and convenience, thankfully while I am able to prepare fresh food i will!

I don`t eat them at home but I do occasionally take ready meals to work.

As often as I can, GM.....my farm shop does fantastic meals for the freezer.... ready meals in the town shops have improved so much....and with a bit of tarting up they're excellent.

I really have no desire to spend time cooking something from scratch only to see it eaten......I find no virtue in cooking stuff for folk to eat.....and I have more time to spend in my sewing room....x

I know folk can sometimes be sniffy about ready meals. If you love cooking and do everything from scratch because you love it that's fine.

My farm shop has a group of locals who cook meals for one or more for freezers and using local ingredients......it's just the same as if they had pre cooked a dinner for visiting guests.....

And for someone who hates the faff and mess of cooking that's a heaven sent service......♥

Yes. Usually have a few in the freezer for the times I can't be bothered to prepare something for the evening meal. Tend to have about one a month.

Years ago ready meals were nasty, Mikey....now there are some delicious ones in shops like Lild and Aldi...

I did cook tonight because I'd bought fish from the Grimsby fish man....so I did the works for a visitor....

Now I'm in the kitchen thinking....sod this for a game.....what a mess when I could have just pricked and pinged.....☺

Yes, now and then. Tonight we had M&S veggie bake with some frozen stilton and brocolli thingamies. Accompanied by a pile of steamed fresh veg whichI did manage to prepare myself!
