Question Author
Slight...to treat with indifference and contempt
Sleight...skill,dexterity
The journalist got it right
Ever thought of putting an 'N' as the first letter of your name
It's a very interesting article. Certainly explains the 'no relegation' stuff that's been mooted recently. He's been one of our better sports writers for quite some time. Just a shame he works for the Mail now, so I never see him 'cos it'sa pile of rubbish otherwise. See AOG in News.

Unfortunately the Scottish Mail doesn't have Martin Samuel so I missed this piece, but he is spot on; the problem being that clowns like Ian Ayre are businessmen at heart and know little of football, it's passions and the motivations of the ordinary fan.
Can anyone tell me why at european football matches you cannot get a beer? And is i the same in europe too? thanks.
It's a UEFA ruling. You can imbibe liberally at German games, but not UEFA Cup or Champion's League games.
