She still is isn't she, I don't think she has taken American citizenship though i'm not certain

Just checked and her birth is registered in Swansea Q4 1969 ref 8b 4595. So she is British by birth, has she taken US citizenship or something?
i can understand services to charity but services to the film industry???

I mean why is she saying she is a British Subject when she is in England? You only become a British Subject when you are abroard,
It is slightly more complicated than that but in her defence I think she is using it in what now would, legally, be an old fashoined sense. She perhaps should have said British citizen.
