this has been going on for so long now. even when i had small children. i can be a busy as i like all day. continue in the evening after i have cooked a meal and then feel really exhausted, go to bed fall asleep for about 1 hr and then awake like the house is on fire
really wish i could find a way to solve the problem

Insomnia is the real bane of my life at the moment.

I too would appreciate some tips on how to get a decent night's slumber. Could it be something as simple as cutting down the caffeine? Putting majoram oil on my pillow?

I don't find drinking cocoa or reading that helpful and don't want to resort to popping pills. Any tips welcome.
Listening to 105 yesterday morning, the DJ said he imagines himself in a room with all the thoughts which keep him awake, in a pile on the floor, and one by one he sweeps them out of the door until there is nothing in the room, and he then drops off to sleep. He swears it works, personally I find an hour on A/B does it for me.
I consider myself very fortunate, I fall asleep within seconds, literally, I dont even remember my head touching the pillow :-)
