Although I asked Father Christmas for a Gold Chain for a pressy he must have forgotten because he gave me a PCS. Now I know I needed one and I was quite pleased with it butI still want the chain.
Being as its my B/day in Feb I'm dropping hints now. I want a 20" belcher 9ct yellow gold chain, trouble is they're pricey, I also want a 3/4 length Mac (I've got an idea what I'll be unwrapping)
Would you buy me the chain or the Mac?

if you want them buy them. I wouldnt buy you either because you asked :-)
The gold chain. I hate it getting cardigans every Xmas when the money would be better spent on decent bottles of wine

I would buy the chain and the Mac for myself!! (Seriously) Then I wouldn't be missing out and would get something unexpectedly for my birthday as well!! I like surprises for presents!!
Jem it all boils down to price I'm afraid and what your 'giver' can afford - I'd give you the chain, it's personal and and will become an heirloom!

I Know what you're saying forget, but H is always moaning he doesn't know what to buy ME. Soo I've dropped the hints and I'll just have to wait & see now.

It's a BIG birthday for me in February. My mum texted me and asked what I wanted. I said a chicken coop...........
1. What's a PCS?

2. I'd get you something you hadn't asked for.

3. BM, check your PM's, lol x
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who didn't understand 'PCS'.

I was thinking of, perhaps, a pull cord switch, or a pretreated corn stover (whatever one of those is!), or potato chip scraps (and not even the fish to go with it!), or even a permanent change of station . . .

A pretreated corn stover?

I have no idea what that is but I KNOW I WANT ONE.
Last year I was away for a fishing week end with the lads and while wandering round the town I saw, in an antique shop, a very nice cameo broach which I thought would be just right for the bosses birthday, so had a look at it found it was one that could be worn as a broach or necklace. Duely presented it, and went to the top of the class, but the next thing however was "What I really need now is a nice gold chain to wear it on" exit paddy on a trip to the jwellers
you buy your boss things?
Jem, I've got a nice mac I'm about to sell on eBay...
WHAT IS A PCS?
My dad once bought my mum a set of steak knives for her birthday. He nearly got them (in his) back.
