yes but you need to talk it over with your vet first to be sure it is an allergy that will be helped by piriton and to get the dose right.
depends on the allergy - it's safe to give to dog's for an insect sting.

tk you my vet thinks it is a pollen allergy so far steriod injections , fuciderm and anti biotics have not helped problem still occuring x
My son gives them to his Pug to help with allergies, but on the advice of the vet.
our beagle is allowed up to 3 a day as she gets very bad hay fever eyes usually a half 3 times a day keeps it under control
I have a westie who has allergies. We have to give her a desensitizing vaccine injection every 2 weeks. She has had endless amounts of steriods and antibiotics over the years but this treatment although quite expensive is working! Every May when the grass pollen is high (or if she starts chewing her paws) we give her half a piriton tablet everyday to help her - our vet and the dermatologist recommended this. However, we have been told not to give the piriton one a day tablets, only to give her the normal ones.

Good Luck!
