Recently my dog seems to be weeing more than usual, it smells rather potent and is quite dark yellow.

Does anyone know what may be causing it?

He's about 7 and is a springer.

Could be a urinary tract infection or stones. Either way, he really needs to see a vet. If you can get a sample of his urine, it would be helpful. Good luck.
sounds like a urine infection to me too, bless, bet he feels poorly. Antibiotics should clear it..
hope he's better soon

Thank you. I hope it is that simple.

He hasn't been acting poorly. I'll get him off to the vet as soon as. Will he be able to be seen before xmas?
yes, most vets are open Christmas Eve.
Could also be a problem with his kidneys or even prostate trouble or cystitis. Vet will check all these.
