Can a bitch be given an injection to stop her season even though it has already started?

Yes, Delvosteron, but it is not always effective, but should take her out of season if she has only just come in. After that, you can have her jabbed about a month before she is due in, then again after three months, then four months, then five months and every five months until you stop the jabs.
