I wanted the mirror to the dolls house dressing table that Father Christmas forgot to leave.

I never did realise that actually my mum had bought them at a bring and buy sale and the mirror must have been missing ! It was make do and mend in them days
I wouldn't have minded my own pair of roller skates, but my sister & me had to share a pair! We used to wear one each, hold hands & skate up & down the road together!

PK Ripper BMX. Oval frame. I knew someone who had one (but I never knew the kid's name). A guy I used to work with said these things are shooting up in value for a mint condition one. I think (at 6' 3") that I'm too tall for a BMX and at 36 years I'm too old.
I wanted that game where you operate on a patient, and his nose went red if you touched his body?

i'm convinced I would have gone to have a great career as a surgeon if I'd had it.....lol

I remember pestering for a Care bear, but got a Cabbage Patch doll instead. I thought it was ugly, and swapped it for a bear that my friend had. My mum went mad, because it'd taken her a lot of searching around before she could find a CP doll. She took the bear off me, gave it back to my friend, but hadn't the heart to ask for the doll back - so I ended up with neither. : (

No Dot, just been reminiscing with a friend, and saying that kids these days get far too much.
In about 1976, Avon brought out a set of 3 soaps in a box called The mitten kittens, i dont need to describe them !

My friend got them and i was so envious, she wouldnt even let me smell them, they were so lovely.
I always wanted a vagina but it wasn't to be.
I was desperate for a tricycle (one of the big ones) a microscope, and an accordian.
a Stylophone - my cousin had one and I always played on his when I went to visit, but it wasn't the same as having one of my own. I have seen them since and toyed with the idea of getting one, but to be honest they have lost their appeal now - age takes its toll!
