Hello

the vets rehomed my gog for me as it was thought my husband had Alzhimers, and i would not be able to cope with the dog, a little Westie 12 months old, the love of my life, i love her so much, however the very next day we was told that he did bot have Alzhimers, and we were so happy, but i tried to get my dog back and they refused, can anyone tell me how i stand legally.

Many thanks

how dare that vet refuse to give your dog back.i wish i could help on the legal side, maybe you could get your doctors to write a letter to said vet to confirm that your lovely husband does not have alzhimers and i hope that would help. lots of luck with it i hope you get her back.xxxx
Go straight to the police, your vet has no right to take your dog! go to the solicitors and get an order on him, so he will have to back track (with your proof, that your husband has not got Alzhimers )

Jondel,
I am so sorry to hear the position you are in regarding your dog.
Have to agree with In A Pickle.
If papers were signed, then there is probably little you can do about your Westie.
You must be heartbroken. I have a Westie too, so know how you must feel. xx
