hi my cat was in season about 3-4 weeks ago very loud cry's and she was also offering herself to us tail over to one side bum in air,this all stopped after about 3-4 days could she be pregnant? also it was very hard to keep her in, now all she seems to do is hide and sleep, have told children not to pick her up just in case,if she is what else can i do worring "grandmother" to be.

If you let her out when she was in heat, then she will almost definitely be pregnant. I am suprised you did not have all the local un-neutered toms trying to break down your door. The gestation period is on average 65 days. You will be able tell if she is pregnant at about 30 days when you should see a change in the nipples. Pregnant cats also sleep a lot more and also eat a lot more. If you really want to find out if she is pregnant sooner , you will have to take her to the vet.

if she was on call for only a few days and now she is just sleeping alot i would put money on it she is pregnant. is she getting grumpy?, how old is she?, let me know as if she is young you might have probs. did you want to breed her? as really she should be spayed.
