I was wondering if you could help me.

I bought my daughter a hamster a week ago with a habitrail cage and wheel, he has a seperate bed attached to one side of the cage. (First the first few days i didn't attach the wheel to the cage).
It always slept in his bed then we attached the wheel and for the past two days the hamster has moved all his bedding from his bed on one side of the cage and moved it to his wheel on the other side. What could i do to change this, if anything?

I was told this will always happen and no matter how many times i move it back it will just keep doing it, so any advice would be grateful.

I"m afraid you will not be able too.My grandaughters hamster will not use her bed, she prefers the running tube all her bedding is in it and she uses her house for the toilet. They usually do their own thing and you can move the bedding back again and you will find it back in the place they want it.They are comical little dears, bless em.g.
I've got 2 hamsters, in separate cages, the boy always sleeps in the same place but the girl moves around a lot, she started off, moving all her bedding from the house to under the wheel, but has now after several months moved back to the house but she moves the entire plastic house now, different place every week! dont know how or why but maybe yours will move in the future too!!
