Whats the difference between a pigeon and a Dove?

There is no difference. Generally the smaller pigeons are referred to as doves, and the word "doves" sounds more romantic than pigeon.

They both make a racket in the morning cooing , and leave presents on my washing !!

me an my cousin always think that a pigeon is always a tad bigger than us doves...and slightly bigger ( the pigeon that iis).............. but then he always was a bully.......................
