We've had "spits and spots" (ugh! lol) here in Cumbria. Just re-checked the BBC weather forecast and it's changed from relentless rain for the week, to sunny spells! Someone is smiling at me!

I'm down near Brighton and it hasn't stopped raining for 2 days.....wonder when the hosepipe ban will come in !!!

It's never stopped in this area since 6 oclock. All its done is vary in intensity at the moment I'm just waiting for it to ease off a bit so I can take Max for a walk

Which part of the Midlands are you in? I've been working in Sutton Coldfield all day and we've only had a short spell when it wasn't raining.
Back home now, almost on the border with Staffordshire and it's still pouring!

hi, im in rugby, warwickshire - apparantly it was hammering down approx 10 miles away in cov, guess we were just lucky!

As I said yesterday, we have had floods...power cuts from 10-30 to 2-30am last night.We have this morning...no buses...no rail service...schools are closed no post as yet...post office closed...local supermarket closed...things nearly at a stand still.
