My dog got msggots under his collar after several days of rain where it irritated him from pulling on it. How do I kill them?

In order for maggots to be there they must have been eating the flesh of your dog's neck. Get the dog to the vet pronto as there will probably be quite a raw wound under the collar/hair.
The best cure for maggos is bathe the wound in the bath/shower so that it's clean on the outside and then wash it in a formula called riddect it will kill off the maggots and then bathe it agian. cover the wound in savlon and if it is a large wound take it to the vet for steralising.
by the way this is advice from my dad who's a vet himself
