My goldfish has decided to become a cannibal and eaten another fish. Thats not the problem as I know this does happen, The problem is the small eaten fish is half stuck in the larger ones gob (the large one dos'nt seems distressed but its been like it now for 12hrs) Ive tried pulling the small fish out of its gob but seems to be stuck fast. The small fish was a albino catfish. Any ideas?

as I recall, the catfish has one way spines around its front end, so pulling on the end of the fish will just open those spines and embed it more firmly into your cannibal's mouth. I am no fish expert and sorry do not have a solution to odfer except to say probably best to stop pulling
Oh dear! It sounds like a problem......I would leave the goldfish alone and monitor it....it will most likely be able to get the fish out itself over a matter of a good few hours as the other fish starts to break down, but if not and it starts to suffer then the best way to euphanise it is into a bag then pop it into the freezer. The larger fish will be able to go without food for a couple of days so don't panic until at least three or four days have passed.
Euphanise...??
Euphonise. The catfish will make pleasant and agreeable sounds when put into a bag and popped into the freezer.
