we have a hedgehog who has made his home in the garden, is it best to let it go in the wild? our garden is secluded and thier is trees at the back of our garden where there is plenty of extra ground for it to roam about in.
it has taken the refugee of the cats rain house under the shed.

Hi, he got in to your garden....so he can get out if he so desires! It sounds like he has found the perfect place in which to hibernate....so as long as the cat's don't mind...I'd leave him to it. You could also try leaving some water nearby for him....just in case he wakes up thirsty....but as I'm no hedgehog expert I won't even try to recommend any sort of food [maybe some one else can]. Just enjoy his presence...he/she may reward you with babies to watch next year!

Try to keep it! They eat slugs and snails and are good for your garden.
you lucky thing, please try to encourage & help feed it, they are so good for your garden, it'll demolish your slugs in no time ! :-)
what ever you do......do not give milk. just plain cat food and water.but should be in hiba by now
