That depends on your vet and how big your cat is. If you want him cremated there is a cost for that too. Sorry to hear about the cancer... are steroids not an option; and remeron?
I am so sorry for you. I had my cat put down a 4 years ago, he was 19 and still sadly missed. He had thyroid problems, lost his eye sight, his sense of smell and his hearing. It was cruel keeping him going. It cost 35 and his ashes were scattered on the garden of rest at the vets surgery. Good luck and god bless xxx
I would suggest you talk to you vet?! I presume he/she has diagnosed the cancer and therefore would be the perfect person to ask about costs.

A general cremation (ie not cremated on own and ashes not returned) is cheapest, whereas an individual cremation with ashes returned in casket is generally the more expensive.

I know it's really sad and we all leave it for as long as possible, but do it now,for thecat's sake.xx
I am so sorry to hear about your cat e beswick. I can only tell you what we decided to do when we were told the same about our cat a few years back.

We'd had our beloved Smudge for 13 years, when she unfortunately got cancer of the knee. The Vet adviced that they could either amputate her leg, or put her to sleep.

We took her back home for a few days & after lots of agonising, decided it was best to put her out of her misery & have her put to sleep. We all cried buckets, but knew it was the best thing for her.

My husband & youngest daughter stayed with Smudge whilst the Vet gave her the injection - our other daughter & I waited outside. We then brought her home & buried her in our back garden.

Thinking of you. -x-
