what are the advantages of an eglu hutch which costs 360 pounds in contrast to a convential one?

The only difference is they are fashionably colourful, and probably a bit easier to clean as they are made of plastic. Personally I would stick to a conventional one. By the way, you can get the Eglu's second hand on Ebay, if you want to compromise.

I tend to agree with the above but would add that apparently they are more fox proof. I don't know if this is true though!
