Rabbit feud!

I have a rabbit called Dinky who I have had for 6 months and will be a year old at christmas. I got another rabbit yesterday (who we have decided to name Coffee) and she is only 8 weeks old. They are in seperate hutches. I tried to introduce them yesterday but Dinky shot in Coffee's direction while I was holding her. I quickly pulled Coffee away. But now I am scared they won't get on, as I thought they would be good company for eachother. Does anyone else have rabbits? Or any ideas... (Good ones ELVIS)!

Make sure you do not have one of each sex we made that mistake. We had three rabbits and before long we had about l5.

I know Dinky is female and the pet shop told us Coffee was but at the moment it doesnt matter because they don't go near eachother.. :o(

Did anyone here bond to rabbits and then managed to let them live in the same hutch together too?
