I asked a quesion a couple weeks ago but due to my not giving enough information didn't get a complete answer. So I want to know why my goldfish chase and twirl each other at times. They don't single out just one. Each chase at different times. I have 5 goldfish and they are in a pond that is 4 feet by 6 feet. They seem happy and healthy. I know mating happens but is this what they are doing? They all do it. Thanks, Fishfun

Hi fishfun, I sounds like whats going on is normal fish behaviour or if you like, a bit of fishfun (great name) if they look happy and healthy, I would'nt worry too much, it could be normal courtship display whats happening.

My fish get shy and nervous at this time of the year when I go to feed them, I think its because of the 'great eyeballs in the sky' which makes them dash and dart about like mad things. All the Best Tbird+ 8)
I have two goldfish and they do this mad thing where they headbutt each others stomach- I read up on it on the t'internet and apparently it's how they court each other.
