What is the White Blaze on a Horse called

That is the right name for it- a blaze
Its sometimes called a 'star' if its on the front of the head.
Or a 'snip' if its a very small white mark.

The white markings on the head of the horse fall into several categories and they can then be further described by size, exact shape and location.


Star

Stripe (Strip)

Connected Star and Stripe

Snip (small white mark either down or across)

Blaze (White stripe down the front of the face)

Bald (Large white face extending below the muzzle and to each side of the nose)
