Lovely sunny warm day here. Have been clearing the little camino (lane) which leads to my villa, the neighbour's horrible plants and trees are always overgrowing and they haven't cleared anything in 12 yrs and they are peasants (literally)and get up my nose*, as the husband can't be nice to me cos I'm foreign and years ago we had to take them to court because they built into the lane and I had no access, couldn't even walk to my path,and the law states that we have to have a 4metre lane for ambulances and fire engines - they have ignored the fact that we don't have a address so couldn't call fopr help if we needed any!! Shoulder is sore, but no bruises or anything so gotoff lightly there. * Have a huge green spot thingy in my nostril which is sooo painful, and looks revolting, keep attacking it, but tono avail. There that is neti's blog for hoy (today).

Afternoon Biddyfriends. B****y cold here got me heating turned up. Don't know how I ever did without it now. Can we all give a big Aahhh for Maggie whose heating is on the blink. Hope you get it fixed soon Maggie.
I'm expecting my brother in a bit to put up a clock and a smoke alarm for me. He was supposed to be here 2 hours ago. He's always the same never on time. How are yer fixed for the job Vinny if he doesn't turn up.
Off out tonight for a bit of a bop. Should warm me up some.

I am really really really cross about this !!!!!!!!!central heating. It came on at 5.45 last night and has just gorn off at 2.30 this afternoon. Me dog has been lying on the floor in the middle of the night panting like H..l I switched if off and Nothing. No. 5 child is coming to have a look at it and then g.d help the people who sold this system to me. For an added luxury the TV doesnt work properly = man coming Monday. I wonder wot my third thing will be? Not happy.

Hi all. Have had fraught few days but didn't want to post while in midst of it! Our central heating too went on the blink - two days without heating or hot water. Have had to have new boiler - posh Bosch - but at cost of a cruise!
Now find I've lost the minute scrap of paper I had all my pin numbers written on, so have to start contacting all concerned. Started with M&S, the rest will have to wait until next week. Things can only improve.

Thank you for those kind thopughts. I know exactly how you feel Neti I spent years pushing a calor gas stove around an enormous old house because I couldnt afford the CH. I had four children under three and a hlaf and it was a nightmare.

No 1 son has been and sorted it for now. On Monday you wiill hear the row from all over England. ha ha.
