is it ok to like animals and respect their right to life but at the same time detest certain insects and kill them with extreme prejudice whenever the opportunity presents itself.

I absolutely detest spiders, but I hate anyone killing them just because I don't like them. I always try to put them outside where they have a chance to survive (even if I have to drop them out of the bathroom window! LOL).

I can't see why anyone would want to kill something unless it was threatening them. I even walked round with a bumblebee on my shoe the other day until I could get it to a bush where it jumped off.

I dont like killing stuff at all. Think Im a bit of a tree huggin hippy deep down I always try and set them free.

I don't see why anyone should think they have a right to take a life just because they don't like the owner of that life. It would be different if the insect was a killer who was out to get you, but if it is just walking by (even if it is on your item of clothing, pillow etc) then why not just put it somewhere where you can't see it, and just let it be?

Agree with all! I try not to kill anything. Sometimes I accidentally do when I trying to pick it with a tissue to let it out and I always feel terrible for doing so.

so how do we stop bugs dying on car windcreens then?
