Theres some kind of extinct animal from Australie. I think it was called a thylasine and it may be a tasmanian tiger(if there is such a thing). I am not sure but its drivin' me crazy.

I saw a ducumentry on this facinating canine, about a couple of years ago, I think it was officialy declared extinct in the 1940s but sightings of it have been reported over the years ever since. I'd like to think its still out there. Now to check out those links..
They've even got some old film of this animal, facinating.

don't know what I did there ,cut myself off .As I was saying the Tasmanian Tiger has gone the way of the DODO ,it's extinct .Dolly Australia .

I met the head keeper at London Zoo once, when I went to pick up a Tamarind and he said that he'd known a guy in Australia who had a scar on his behind from being bitten by a thylacine.
