Another friend wants a set of cushion covers, and I want to make a table runner for Christmas. I will of course divert into the Christmas market maybe for a ridiculously expensive mulled wine but might give the super long sausages a miss.
As we're due a mild weekend I'll get the outdoor lights on the trees so I don't have to do it later in the rain and cold, not switched on, obviously. I'll also put the artificial tree together, tends to take ages to get right, because someone who doesn't like me has decided that 2 months before the age limit I should do jury service in the middle of December. It's a 2 hour bus journey and a walk at the end, they don't pay for parking either if I drive in to the city, a couple of weeks before Christmas for two weeks so should be fun.
Everyone seems very busy. We have a decorator in tomorrow for four days, sorting out the kitchen and utility room. So, we will be stuck in the sitting room and dining room keeping out of the way. Tomorrow's dinner is all cooked and will keep overnight and tomorrow in the fridge but how will I make a cup of tea during the day?
I really don't fancy lugging the kettle, cups and milk into the dining room but I guess I don't have a choice. Roll on Tuesday...
