Would love to know along with poster Woozy what prize crosswords are available in which papers this weekend, please? Have the Telegraph today yet miffed that it is just the 200 one , no 500 GK this weekend. One poster mentioned the Financial Times yet it costs 2.30 for this paper today so unless the prizes are really good methinks that is much to pay just to do some crosswords unless the prizes are really good. Most Sundays purchase The Mail On Sunday for their prize crosswords, too. Hoping you guys can shed some light here. Many thanks in advance :-) Bea :-)

Not greedy at all or materialistic as it happens. Just hubby is struggling to find work with his plumbing trade even though he is a fantastic plumber + want to enter as many competitions as possible so can hopefully help him out with some much needed cash. Unable to work due to neurological condition yet government will not award me any benefits no matter what the doctors may say- just a fact- received benefit before marriage yet as soon as married benefits stopped even though condition was the same. 200 win would be marvellous, for sure. Just about keeping our heads above water at present- like many others too. Enter 100 pound competitions too. Never enter lottery or scratch cards as want to win some money by using brain. Do buys Puzzler magazines + recently entered 2 of their competitions. Hope that answers your reply columbus. Motive is just to help out hubby + be able to treat self to a new swimming outfit as swimming would be therapeutic. Take care! Bea :-)
Hi Bea - I bought the FT yesterday - never had it before but it really is a fantastic read and the puzzles are good - see you around the threads ! :-)
Hi Bea - I bought the FT yesterday it was a bit more than I usually pay for a paper but it really is a fantastic read - and the puzzle is good too. Probably wont get it every week due to the cost but it was nice to have a paper I could take with me as I was away from home yesterday and there is no way the OH would let me have his telegraph before he had read it - someone mentioned the CO Op is slow putting out its papers and I agree - you also need to check that they have put in all the sections as they often miss some outX
