I don't normally post on the morning post, and I doubt if I have ever started one.  

Today I hope that all of you have a warm and dry day.  I have no plans but since I have been awake for well over 24 hours I really hope I manage to sneak in a few hours sleep.

I have a quandary! I feel awful but as I work from home I kinda feel I should log on but then I think if I was commuting I would call in 🤢 so why am I logging on?

I may see how I feel after the tablets kick in.

My sick record is excellent at the new place and very good at the old place.

but I am dressed and I resemble a corpse so may keep the camera off!

The after years of managing with Dave's old doorbell yesterday I bit the bullet and fitted a new one. No smartphone so couldn't do a vision one but my sense of humour got the better of me and out of 50 options I now have a doorbell  that goes cuckoo very loudly when you press the button.

Good morning Wolf et al.  I'm just trying to get my brain working after a very disturbed night.  Looks like a nice day out there but I can't get out.  However breakfast in bed has just arrived to cheer me up.  Rest up today Red, you deserve a break. X

Gosh it looks like a glorious day out. Good, as I'm going out for the first time in 3 days. I started to paint my box room on Saturday and, at my age,it's slow going. But I'm happy as I love the colour. I need a rest from it today...and Toby needs food. I obey him 🐱

Rowan, did you choose the cuckoo doorbell yourself? My Mam had a cuckoo clock once, I was home for a week and I must have let it fly out the window haha into the nearest bin. I will wait till tomorrow and see if I still need the dr.  I haven't tried steam but I will today to see if it improves things
