Am I the only person alive who has no interest in taking photos? My smartphone is always with me and it has a decent camera that I use for eBay listings but I have never taken a selfie or felt compelled to take a photo just because I can. I prefer to watch and listen to the shows and gigs I go to, and just enjoy the peace and beauty oft scenery and sunsets, sunrises. I take a photo of an important occasion but that’s it.
I feel as if I am out of step with the rest of the world.

Have a hot cross bun and don't worry about it, Baz.
Last photo I took was of a squirrel in our garden. And of a couple of cats that regularly visit.
I once tried to take a selfie and my iPhone said “no”
The older I get the fewer photos I take. We are not out of step, it's the others barry ;)
Cracked the screen, McMouse? lol
Eughhh selfies Noooo, especially the trout pout ones
When I and my wife were younger, I took many photos of people and places, because we used to get around a lot. We went abroad, up mountains in Scotland, and so on. But, now that we are approaching the sunset of our lives, we have not the energy to get around as we used to. I got rid of my camera when film went out and digital came in, mainly because we do not go anywhere that warrants carrying a camera. If I had a camera now, we would merely take pictures of each other, and we already have many such photos. That's the way it goes, I suppose, when one gets older: one's interests change. Ah, well.

Thanks, Choux. You have reminded me of a bakers that was around when I was a kid, Braggs. They did the most enormous choux buns, as big as my head, filled with fresh cream and smothered in chocolate. I did get in a mess, but they were worth it
i have thousands of photo's taken from around the world on my travels, and some of the UK, Mr Em, family, but none of me, i wouldn't dream of taking a selfie
I've always been rubbish at thinking of taking a photo. I often have to get my mum to send them to me, as it just isn't a natural thought for me.
Every now and then I take selfies with little Tigs. Special occasions mainly.

Wherever I go I buy postcards, they are always much better than any photo I could take and are not blighted by my ugly mug. It is easy to scribble the date on the back and my pithy comments to remind us of the day. I’ve encouraged my children and grandchildren to do the same and we have lovely memory albums

I go to a lot of gigs and I get very annoyed by the amount of people who choose to watch through their phone or tablets. I prefer to buy the official dvd and enjoy the performance without worrying about recording it

I have always taken photos of the children and grandchildren on their birthdays, those are special days. But only one
Snap.
Never really been into photography. Had cameras & camera phones but hardly ever take pics. Maybe snap a crossword to send to a pal! The most interesting pics a took - ages ago - are of people.

My brother in law was keen on photography & continued to get prints even after digital came in. Shelves full of photo albums.
barry, my buns are not as big as they used to be, nor in quite the same placement but I am still here ;)

I am relieved to knowi am not one of a kind
I realised the other day we do not have a single photo of us as a family, and was very sad about it
I only use the camera on my phone to take photos of jigsaw puzzles I've completed and I don't know how to take a selfie and I've got no interest in selfies either.
