I read 3 of the books that James Bowen wrote and loved them. So glad they found each other and sad that James has lost his little furmate.

RIP Bob :o(

As soon as I saw your header, I said to myself 'he's died'. So sad that I was right. Loved those books. RIP little puss xxxx
So sad. I read the first book. Must be dreadful for James RIP Bob.
Aaah, so sorry to hear that Bob has crossed the rainbow bridge. He had an amazing life. Loved the books and film.
Awwww poor Bob. :-(
A life well lived, rest easy Bob x
He had a good life with James and James had a good life with Bob. I hope James will be ok, eventually, so my best wishes to him.
Frankie runs for cover when the door buzzer goes, his sister loved her auntie Alison but tried to kill all other visitors. They are/ were not sociable like Bob.
Bob sounds more like a dog in nature, they were good for each other.
Fourteen is old, but not terribly old.

Tigger was 13/14 and Blue was 14/15 when they passed away. They were around 2 when I got them from Battersea. They would let me have kittens due to working full time. Still miss them now :o(
Wonderful cat that helped change a man's life for the better. RIP Bob

Lovely man - amazing cat. They saved each other.
That was a brilliant film
So sad, a truly lovely cat.
So sad. He touched everyone that knew him. Beautiful boy.
I've only just found out about this.
It almost feels like you do when an actor or singer you've always liked, has died.
That horrid sinking feeling and an emptiness I can't properly describe in words.
Poor James...he'll be at a total loss for a very long time.
I watched the film again only the other day - Bob had such charm and a wonderful relationship with James - it just breaks your heart when such a companion is no longer in your life ....rest easy Bob, your life’s work is complete xx
