A First For Me.....

....a crow murmuration. Starlings I've seen often......beautiful shapes in the sky.......synchronised flying and a final furious but elegant dip into the trees.

Crows are different......rowdy....noisy and god knows how they don't crash into each other but it was still stunning to watch. There were thousands....the sky suddenly went black and we were lucky enough to be on the rooftop watching.....a stunning sight.

But now the storm has arrived......severe gales and horizontal rain and nothing between us in our rooftop apartment and the wild Atlantic.......the lightning over the sea is just beautiful......

So.....I am going to knit and radio listen....how would you spend a night indoors with a storm raging?.....x

Still in the rooftop penthouse, DT and it's fantastic! I feel a tad guilty about loving extreme weather as I know how devastating it is for some but to stand on the walkway at the front of this apartment trying but failing to walk into the gale is bliss...
