Dairy bulls are nasty *******s!  Most beef breeds are ok - bulls tend to be well handled and quiet in comparison to cows, but obviously that can't be taken for granted.

As with all animals, breed traits are just a generalisation and there are exceptions to every rule.

I can't answer that ... it's always puzzled me a bit, especially since dairy cows are usually quite placid and easily handled.
