Saturday. A clear sky again. No air movement. A light frost.
I hope it bucks up a bit before Tuesday.
Tiggy is doing well, but there isn't a lot of natural food for him at the moment. We are told there will be a population explosion among the slug community. That'll please him.
I have a lunch charter today. The first of the season for me.
Same weather status here S of York, WBM. No idea what I'm doing awake, especially after an 11 hour day yesterday which involved just over 6hrs of driving back from Dorking in BH traffic!
more doom and gloom wife of uncle who passed away a few months before dad died very suddenly yesterday...do not know any details must have been heart or stroke.. have to be out early doors to help out..folk to pick up from train/airport etc...
felt generous yesterday so took a bit of trouble over cooking the evening meal. smoked trout dressed in lightly toasted almonds and a twist of lime with a quenelle of riced potatoes and mushrooms and anchovies and a mix of hot pickled baby leeks and sweetcorn. it was quite nice.
minty so sorry to hear that. will this much of a burden on you and just how is it going to affect mum? that would be my first thought. hope you are feeling a bit better now, or rather I hope you are feeling a lot better now.
