If you`re a cat lover, there`s a funny programme about them on Channel 5 at the moment.

Thanks - I don't have a TV but will watch it on catch-up later.

I am helping my little boy cat to write his book just now.
Ooh yes. Thanks. I'll watch it, and I'll let Excelsior know aswell - he loves cats
The cat on my knee wouldn't approve if I looked at any other cats, so I'll stick with my nightly 8pm fix of 'The Avengers' on True Entertainment.
Our cat is presently nicking my pork scratchings ! gawd I'm glad she doesn't like beer.

Is that the original Avengers, Chris ?.
It's the colour version with Emma Peel in it, Tony. (Every weekday night at 8pm. Channel 61 on Freeview). Totally ridiculous plots every time but wonderful escapism nonetheless!
Friggin football.

What amazes me is that they are so strong-willed. My mum had a nurse visit today who sat at the end of the settee. I sat at the other end of the settee with the cat. The cat was absolutely determined that she was going to investigate the nurse and I had to hold onto her really tightly. It was like trying to hold back a dog that is intent on attacking someone.
I know the plots are ridiculous, Chris. Thats what makes them so good imo.
Lol...my two are like chalk and cheese. It's good cat, naughty cat.
Question Author
That should be interesting Tony.
Yes, thats what I thought 237SJ. I hope it happens.
>>>It's good cat, naughty cat

Rubbish! There's no such thing as a good cat!
Question Author
I`m not a fan of species being reintroduced into the countryside because the balance of nature has changed but if lynx eat rabbits and other small creatures then maybe it can work. I knew where there was at least one of those big cats living in the wild (they used to call them the Beast of Exmoor or Beast of Bodmin). I don`t know if it`s still there because I haven`t been to that part of the woods since about 2007 but it/they had certainly managed to survive for several years.
I can remember seeing ( not very good ) photo's in various newspapers of the 'Beast of Bodmin'.
Question Author
I didn`t have a photo of it but I did have a close up photo of the tree bark where it used to scratch it`s claws. My Dad came face to face with it - he said it was about the size of a border collie. The one I saw was a bit bigger than that though.
I remember talk of it probably being a Puma, did it look like one ?.
Question Author
Somebody told me that pumas are golden in colour and they thought it was probably a black leopard.
I thought Puma's where Black ( show's how wrong I can be ). I didn't know that there is such a thing as a Black leopard, 237SJ.
Tony a black panther is actually a black leopard.
