Saturday. The sun is going to shine. :o} It needs to, it's rather nippy out this morning. Some of the wildlife are out and about, others are sensible and waiting for it to warm up a bit.

The scruffy fox was in the garden again last night. He scoffed all the bits I pt out for tiggy. Theivin' git!

I think I've found where he gets in. I'll think about blocking it. However, the poor lad looks like he's having a tough time of it so I might not. The pair I see regularly when I'm out walking are a handsome pair well able to look after themselves and have no fear of me. Nor do any of the mob I see regularly, unless they are up to no good! :o}

I'm out to dinner with the usual couple tonight, always a pleasure. I'm looking forward to it.

Have a happy day everyone.

hi wbm - a bit chillier over here too at the mo
is the scruffy one hurt or diseased or .....just scruffy
morning boaty xx
Poor old Mr Fox. Yes, it's annoying when they get in. I've TRIED to block their various ways in to my garden but somehow, they still get through. I won't ever harm them in any way but I just wish they would all sod off as I want to encourage the birds back. Also, I am in an area surrounded by a gazillion cats and the birds are all keeping well away. The house next door has 3 of the vile creatures and I've seen them catch and kill birds. Hate cats.
Have a good evening with your friends.
I'm off to Zumba this morning 8 -9 then hreading straight off to Hampshire for the weekend. Got to get away fron the squalor that is Brighton and Hove , especially at a Bank Hol.
morning beej xx

Morning beej. Just scruffy. From the little I see of him he doesn't seem injured or sick, he can shift at a rate of knots from a standing start! But not as laid back as the other two I see. He must be a bit desperate if he's coming into gardens.

Morning jan xxx Too many cats here too, but they know better than to venture into my garden, so the birds do come in. :o} The fox comes in at night, so is not a threat to the birds.

Where in Hampshire are you off to?
hi jan x
aw well wbm - just keep feeding then
Question Author
I probably will beej. As long as he leaves Tiggy alone.
Question Author
They don't usually come into gardens here because there is so much open countryside.
dunno if foxes are a thret to hedgehogs, wbm
Question Author
They can be in the wild if they are hungry enough. This one looks like it might be. It's possible it's mum was killed when he was young, so has no 'proper' lessons in life.
